Angélica Lozano

Angélica Lozano is a Colombian politician and activist who has served as a Senator of Colombia since 2018. A prominent advocate for human rights and LGBT equality, she previously served as a member of the Chamber of Representatives, where she became the country's first openly LGBT legislator at the national level. Lozano began her political career as the Mayor of the Chapinero district in Bogotá and later served on the Bogotá City Council. Throughout her career, she has focused on anti-corruption reforms, environmental policy, and the protection of indigenous rights.
