Angela Erwin is a German politician and lawyer serving as a member of the Landtag of North Rhine-Westphalia since 2017. Representing the Christian Democratic Union (CDU), she currently chairs the Committee on Internal Affairs and leads the NRW-Japan parliamentary group. Before her legislative career, she worked as a lawyer and partner in a Düsseldorf law firm. Erwin is the daughter of the late Düsseldorf mayor Joachim Erwin and has been active in local CDU politics since 2008.
