Angie Chen Button

Angie Chen Button is an American politician and certified public accountant serving as a member of the Texas House of Representatives for the 112th district since 2009. Born in Taipei, Taiwan, she immigrated to the United States and earned a graduate degree from the University of Texas at Dallas. Throughout her legislative career, she has chaired the House Committee on International Relations and Economic Development and has been recognized for her work in child-care funding. As one of the few Republicans representing Dallas County, she is known for her ability to secure split-ticket support in a politically competitive district.
