Angie Craig is an American politician serving as the U.S. Representative for Minnesota's 2nd congressional district since 2019. A member of the Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party, she is recognized as a centrist and moderate Democrat who has co-chaired the New Democrat Coalition. Before entering politics, she worked in journalism and corporate communications, including a long tenure at St. Jude Medical. Craig is the first openly LGBT+ member of Congress from Minnesota and currently serves as the Ranking Member of the House Agriculture Committee. In 2025, she announced her candidacy for the United States Senate in the 2026 election.
