Angus Taylor

Angus Taylor is an Australian politician who has served as the Leader of the Opposition and Leader of the Liberal Party since 2026. He has represented the division of Hume in the House of Representatives since 2013. A former management consultant and agribusiness entrepreneur, Taylor held several ministerial portfolios in the Turnbull and Morrison governments, including Minister for Energy and Emissions Reduction. He is a prominent member of the National Right faction and holds degrees from the University of Sydney and Oxford University, where he studied as a Rhodes Scholar.
