James Griffin

James Griffin is an Australian politician serving as a member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly for the electoral district of Manly since 2017. A senior member of the Liberal Party, he previously served as the Minister for Environment and Heritage from 2021 to 2023. During his ministerial tenure, he oversaw significant land acquisitions for national park expansion and implemented various environmental reforms, including a ban on single-use plastics and the expansion of the Return and Earn recycling scheme. Prior to his parliamentary career, Griffin worked in digital risk consulting and served as a councillor on the former Manly Council.
