Anita Dow

Anita Dow is an Australian politician currently serving as a member of the Tasmanian House of Assembly for the Division of Braddon, representing the Labor Party. First elected in 2018, she has held significant leadership roles within her party, including serving as the Deputy Leader of the Opposition. Before entering state politics, she served as the Mayor of Burnie from 2014 to 2017 and worked professionally as a registered nurse. Dow was re-elected to her parliamentary seat in the 2025 state election and continues to be a prominent figure in Tasmanian Labor politics.
