Annette Quijano is an American politician serving as a member of the New Jersey General Assembly, representing the 20th Legislative District since 2008. A native of New Jersey and daughter of Puerto Rican parents, she holds a B.S. in Management and a Juris Doctor from Rutgers University. Before her legislative career, she served as Chief of Staff to State Senator Raymond Lesniak and as assistant counsel to three New Jersey governors. In 2025, she was elected as speaker pro tempore of the Assembly. Throughout her tenure, she has focused on homeland security, labor issues, and state government leadership.
