Anthony H. Williams

Anthony H. Williams is an American politician serving as a member of the Pennsylvania State Senate, representing the 8th District since 1998. Before his tenure in the Senate, he served in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 1989 to 1998. A graduate of Franklin & Marshall College, Williams previously worked as a mid-level executive at PepsiCo and owned a small vending business. Throughout his legislative career, he has held various leadership roles, including Democratic Whip, and has been an active advocate for education reform and community development in Philadelphia. In 2023, he announced an affiliation with the Forward Party while maintaining his Democratic Party membership.
