Antoine Armand

Antoine Armand is a French politician and civil servant who currently serves as the Mayor of Annecy, having been elected in March 2026. A member of the Renaissance party, he previously served as a deputy in the National Assembly for the second constituency of Haute-Savoie and held the position of Minister of the Economy, Finance, and Industry in the Barnier government in 2024. An alumnus of the École normale supérieure and the École nationale d'administration, Armand has focused his political career on economic policy and energy sovereignty, notably authoring a major report on France's energy independence.
