Anton Siluanov is a Russian politician and economist who has served as the Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation since December 2011. A career civil servant, he joined the Ministry of Finance in 1985 and held various senior roles in budget and macroeconomic policy before his appointment as minister. He also served as the First Deputy Prime Minister of Russia from 2018 to 2020. Known for his long-standing role in managing Russia's fiscal policy, he has been subject to international sanctions following the 2022 invasion of Ukraine.
