Antonio Denarium

Antonio Denarium is a Brazilian politician who served as the Governor of Roraima from 2019 to 2026. A member of the Progressive Party, he is known for his nationalist political stance and his opposition to immigration, particularly regarding the Venezuelan refugee crisis. During his tenure, he advocated for the closure of Brazil's border with Venezuela. In 2023, his mandate faced legal challenges from the Brazilian Election Justice due to irregularities involving the distribution of food baskets during the 2022 election cycle. He eventually resigned from his position in 2026 to pursue a candidacy for the Brazilian Senate.
