Julio Lopes

Julio Lopes is a Brazilian politician and business administrator currently serving as a Member of the Chamber of Deputies representing the state of Rio de Janeiro. A member of the Progressive Party (PP), he has held multiple terms in the Chamber, having first been elected in 2002. Throughout his career, he has served as the Secretary of Transport for the state of Rio de Janeiro and has been recognized for his legislative focus on nuclear energy, public security, and fiscal modernization, including advocacy for the use of the CPF as a unified national identification number. He is a consistent proponent of infrastructure development and technological innovation in public policy.
