Antonis Samaras

Antonis Samaras is a Greek politician who served as Prime Minister of Greece from 2012 to 2015 and led the New Democracy party from 2009 to 2015. A long-serving Member of the Hellenic Parliament representing Messenia, he has also held key ministerial posts including Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of Culture, and served as a Member of the European Parliament. He was expelled from New Democracy in November 2024 and currently serves as an independent member of parliament.
