Anurag Thakur

Anurag Singh Thakur is an Indian politician and a long-serving Member of Parliament representing the Hamirpur constituency in Himachal Pradesh. A member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, he has served in multiple ministerial roles, including Minister of Information and Broadcasting and Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports. Before his full-time political career, he was a prominent sports administrator, serving as the president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Thakur is also a commissioned officer in the Territorial Army, holding the rank of captain.
