Sakshi Maharaj

Sakshi Maharaj, born Sachchidanand Hari Sakshi, is an Indian political and religious leader currently serving as a Member of the Lok Sabha representing the Unnao constituency. A member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, he has held various parliamentary seats since 1991 and previously served in the Rajya Sabha. Beyond his political career, he is a religious leader holding the title of Acharya Mahamandleshwar and operates a network of educational institutions. He is a controversial figure known for his hardline Hindutva views and has faced multiple legal challenges throughout his career, including accusations related to the Babri Masjid demolition case and other criminal charges.
