Chandan Chauhan is an Indian politician currently serving as a Member of Parliament in the Lok Sabha, representing the Bijnor constituency. He hails from a prominent political family in Uttar Pradesh; he is the son of former MP Sanjay Singh Chauhan and the grandson of Chaudhary Narayan Singh, the first Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. Before his election to the Lok Sabha, Chauhan served as a member of the 18th Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly, representing the Meerapur constituency. He is a member of the Gurjar community and has previously been associated with the Samajwadi Party before aligning with the Rashtriya Lok Dal.
