Gurmit Singh is an Indian politician and retired Lieutenant General of the Indian Army who has served as the Governor of Uttarakhand since September 2021. During his distinguished military career, he held several high-ranking positions, including Deputy Chief of Army Staff and Additional Director General of Military Operations.
