Aphra Brandreth is a British Conservative Party politician who has served as the Member of Parliament for Chester South and Eddisbury since the 2024 general election. Before entering national politics, she worked as an economic adviser to Defra from 2003 to 2013 and served as a councillor for the Barnes ward on the Richmond Council from 2018 to 2022. She is the daughter of former MP Gyles Brandreth and holds a degree in economics from University College London.
