Arben Vitia

Arben Vitia is a Kosovar politician and medical doctor currently serving as the Minister of Health of Kosovo. A member of the Vetëvendosje movement, he has held the ministerial portfolio across multiple administrations, notably leading the country's healthcare response during the COVID-19 pandemic. Prior to his ministerial career, he served as the director of the healthcare and social welfare department for the Municipality of Pristina and has been a prominent leader within his party's branch in the capital. His policy focus includes improving access to essential medicines, reforming specialized treatment funding, and expanding healthcare infrastructure.
