A member of the Indian National Lok Dal, he comes from a prominent political family as the son of Abhay Singh Chautala, grandson of former Haryana Chief Minister Om Prakash Chautala, and great-grandson of former Deputy Prime Minister Devi Lal. He won his seat in the 2024 Haryana Legislative Assembly election, emerging as one of the new faces of the party.
