Art Haywood

Art Haywood is an American lawyer and politician serving as a member of the Pennsylvania State Senate for the 4th district since 2015. Born in Toledo, Ohio, he pursued a legal career in Philadelphia after graduating from the University of Michigan Law School. Before his election to the state senate, Haywood served on the Cheltenham Township Board of Commissioners. In the legislature, he has focused on police reform, gun control advocacy, and ethics in government, including efforts to address the January 6 Capitol attack.
