Arti Singh Rao

Arti Singh Rao is an Indian politician and sportsperson serving as a Member of the Haryana Legislative Assembly for the Ateli constituency and as the Minister of Health and Family Welfare of Haryana. Born in Rewari into a prominent political family, she is the daughter of union minister Rao Inderjit Singh and the granddaughter of former Haryana Chief Minister Rao Birender Singh. Before entering politics full-time, she was an international skeet shooter who won a gold medal at the 2005 Asian Games. She secured her first electoral victory in the 2024 Haryana Legislative Assembly election representing the Bharatiya Janata Party and subsequently joined the Second Saini ministry as a cabinet minister.
