Arup Chatterjee is an Indian politician from Jharkhand currently serving as a Member of the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly representing the Nirsa constituency. He began his political career with the Marxist Coordination Committee and was first elected as an MLA in 2009, later retaining his seat in 2014 and returning to the assembly by winning the 2024 election under the banner of the Communist Party of India (Marxist–Leninist) Liberation.
