Shrawan Kumar

Shrawan Kumar is an Indian politician serving as a member of the Bihar Legislative Assembly for the Nalanda constituency, a seat he has held continuously since 1995. A prominent leader within the Janata Dal (United), he currently serves as the Minister of Rural Development and Information and Public Relations in the Government of Bihar. Throughout his long-standing political career, which began with his involvement in the JP Movement, he has held various ministerial portfolios and serves as the chief whip for his party in the Bihar Vidhan Sabha. He is widely recognized as a close political associate of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
