Arvils Ašeradens is a Latvian politician currently serving as the Minister for Finance of Latvia. Born in 1962, he has held several high-level government positions throughout his career, including serving as the Minister for Economics and Deputy Prime Minister in the Kučinskis cabinet. He holds a master's degree in Economic Geography from the University of Latvia. In addition to his domestic political roles, he serves as an ex-officio member of the Board of Governors for the Nordic Investment Bank and the World Bank.
