Asfand Yar Khan Kakar is a Pakistani politician and ethnic Pashtun tribesman who serves as a member of the Provincial Assembly of Balochistan. Affiliated with the Pakistan Peoples Party, he previously held office from 2008 to 2013, during which time he also served as the Minister for Food within the provincial cabinet. He is a native of Tehsil Barshore in District Pishin and serves as the head of the Kakar tribe.
