Ashish Deshmukh is an Indian politician currently serving as a member of the 15th Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, representing the Savner Assembly Constituency. The son of former Maharashtra minister Ranjeet Deshmukh, he has had a varied political career, having previously served as an MLA from Katol between 2014 and 2019. After a period with the Indian National Congress, he rejoined the Bharatiya Janata Party in 2023 and currently leads the party's OBC Morcha. Known for his advocacy regarding the formation of a separate Vidarbha state, he is also an author and active in various social and sports organizations.
