Ashish Shelar

Ashish Shelar is an Indian politician and sports administrator currently serving as a member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly for the Vandre West constituency. A long-time member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, he has held various leadership roles, including president of the Mumbai unit of the BJP. Before his legislative career, he served as a member of the Maharashtra Legislative Council and as a corporator in the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation. Beyond politics, he has been active in sports administration, notably serving as the president of the Mumbai Cricket Association and as a treasurer for the BCCI.
