Ashok Mittal

Ashok Kumar Mittal is an Indian businessman and politician serving as a member of the Rajya Sabha, the upper house of India's Parliament. Previously a prominent entrepreneur, he is the founder and chancellor of Lovely Professional University. Mittal entered active politics in 2022, initially representing the Aam Aadmi Party before joining the Bharatiya Janata Party in April 2026. He has also served as a member of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Finance.
