Prem Chand Bairwa

Prem Chand Bairwa is an Indian politician currently serving as the Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan, a position he has held since December 2023. A member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, he represents the Dudu Assembly constituency in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly. Bairwa began his political career as a member of the Jaipur Zila Parishad and was first elected to the state assembly in 2013. He made history as the first Dalit individual to serve as a Deputy Chief Minister in Rajasthan, where he oversees portfolios including Higher and Technical Education, Road Transport and Highways, and Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy.
