Diya Kumari
Profile
Diya Kumari is an Indian politician and member of the Bharatiya Janata Party who currently serves as the Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan. A member of the former royal Kachhwaha family of Jaipur, she previously served as a Member of Parliament in the Lok Sabha representing Rajsamand from 2019 to 2023. Since December 2023, she has held her current position in the ministry of Bhajan Lal Sharma and also serves as an MLA for the Vidhyadhar Nagar constituency. Beyond her political career, she manages several educational and charitable trusts, including the Princess Diya Kumari Foundation, which focuses on women's empowerment.
