Athanasios Rakovalis

Athanasios Rakovalis is a Greek politician, physicist, iconographer, and author who serves as a Member of the Hellenic Parliament representing the Niki party. Having been next in line on the nationwide party list, he assumed his parliamentary mandate in December 2024 following the resignation of Georgios Apostolakis. Known widely as a spiritual protégé of Saint Paisios, he has written several religious and biographical books concerning ascetic life and Orthodox Christianity.
