Attaullah Tarar

Attaullah Tarar is a Pakistani politician currently serving as the Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting and the Minister for National Heritage and Culture. A member of the Pakistan Muslim League (N), he was elected to the National Assembly of Pakistan in 2024 representing the NA-127 Lahore-XI constituency. Before his current ministerial role, he held various positions including Special Assistant to the Prime Minister and spokesperson for the Government of Punjab. He is a lawyer by training, having earned an LLB (Hons) degree from the University of London, and comes from a prominent political family as the grandson of former President Muhammad Rafiq Tarar.
