Augusts Brigmanis

Augusts Brigmanis is a Latvian politician and farmer who currently serves as a member of the 14th Saeima. A long-standing figure in Latvian politics, he previously served as the chairman of the Latvian Farmers' Union from 2000 to 2019 and has been elected to multiple parliamentary convocations since the 8th Saeima. During the Soviet era, he held various administrative roles, including serving as the first secretary of the Saldus district committee. He is a graduate of the Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies, where he specialized in agricultural economics.
