Awais Leghari

Awais Leghari is a Pakistani politician currently serving as the Federal Minister of Energy in the cabinet of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. A long-standing figure in Pakistani politics, he has held multiple ministerial portfolios, including Federal Minister for Power and Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunications. He was first elected to the National Assembly in 2002 and has represented various constituencies in Dera Ghazi Khan throughout his career. Leghari is a member of the Pakistan Muslim League (N) and has previously served in the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab.
