Azir Aliu

Azir Aliu is a North Macedonian politician and academic who currently serves as the Minister of Health of North Macedonia, having assumed the office in June 2025. Prior to his current role, he served as the Minister of Public Administration from 2023 to 2024. An expert in computer science and technology, Aliu holds a Ph.D. in Information Sciences and has spent much of his career as a professor at the University of Southeast Europe in Tetovo, specializing in cryptography, cybersecurity, and machine learning. He has also served as an advisor on higher education to the Prime Minister of North Macedonia.
