Balázs Hankó is a Hungarian politician currently serving as a Member of the National Assembly. Elected via the Fidesz–KDNP national list in the 2026 parliamentary election, he also holds the position of vice-chairman of the parliament's Committee of Education. Previously, he served as the Minister of Culture and Innovation from 2024 to 2026 and held the role of secretary of state for higher education, vocational training, and innovation within the same ministry from 2022 to 2024. In 2026, he was awarded the Order of the Serbian Flag.
