Péter Magyar

Péter Magyar is a Hungarian politician serving as the Prime Minister of Hungary since May 2026. Formerly a member of the governing Fidesz party, he rose to national prominence in 2024 following his resignation from state-related positions and his vocal criticism of government corruption. As the leader of the Tisza Party, which he transformed into a major political force, he successfully led an opposition campaign that secured a parliamentary supermajority in the 2026 elections.
