Zsolt Csaba Hegedűs is a Hungarian politician and orthopaedic surgeon serving as the Minister of Health since 2026. A graduate of Semmelweis University, he spent a decade working in the United Kingdom's National Health Service before returning to Hungary to practice medicine. He gained public prominence as a leader in the campaign against systemic gratuity payments in healthcare and as a former president of the Ethics Collegium of the Hungarian Medical Chamber.
