Zoltán Tarr is a Hungarian politician and former Reformed priest who has served as the Minister of Culture in the Hungarian government since May 2026. Born in Budapest in 1972, he previously worked as a pastor for several universities and held a leadership role in the national church administration. After leaving the church in 2015, he transitioned to the private sector and later worked for the Ministry for National Economy. Tarr gained political prominence as a member of the Tisza Party, leading its delegation in the European Parliament from 2024 to 2026 before assuming his current cabinet position.
