Bankim Chandra Ghosh

Bankim Chandra Ghosh is an Indian politician currently serving as a member of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly representing the Chakdaha constituency. He was elected to this position in May 2021 after defeating his opponent from the All India Trinamool Congress by a margin of 11,680 votes. Prior to his current tenure, Ghosh was a member of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) before resigning and joining the Bharatiya Janata Party in 2019 following the Indian General election.
