Banwari Lal Verma

Banwari Lal Verma is an Indian politician currently serving as a Member of the Rajya Sabha. He holds the positions of Minister of State in the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment and Minister of State in the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution within the Government of India. A prominent leader from the Lodhi community in western Uttar Pradesh, he previously served as the president of the Braj region and as the chairman of the Uttar Pradesh State Construction Development Corporation Limited. He is recognized as a long-time party worker and a close associate of former Chief Minister Kalyan Singh.
