Barış Bektaş is a Turkish politician serving as a Member of the Grand National Assembly for Konya since 2023. Born in Seydişehir in 1976, he graduated from the Istanbul University Faculty of Law in 1999 and subsequently worked as a freelance lawyer affiliated with the Konya Bar Association. Before his election to parliament, he held various leadership roles within the Republican People's Party, including serving as the Selçuklu District Chairman and the Konya Provincial Chairman. He is a member of the TBMM Constitution Commission.
