Barbara Ehardt

Barbara Ehardt is an American politician and former college basketball coach serving as a member of the Idaho House of Representatives for the 33rd district since 2017. Before entering politics, she had a career in athletics, including serving as the women's basketball head coach at Cal State Fullerton from 2000 to 2003. A member of the Republican Party, Ehardt previously served on the Idaho Falls City Council. In the legislature, she is known for her conservative policy stances, including sponsoring legislation that restricts transgender athletes from participating in sports teams corresponding to their gender identity.
