Barry Moore

Barry Moore is an American politician serving as the U.S. Representative for Alabama's 1st congressional district since 2025. A member of the Republican Party, he previously represented the 91st district in the Alabama House of Representatives from 2010 to 2018. Moore, who holds a degree in agricultural science from Auburn University and served in the Alabama National Guard, founded a waste hauling company before entering politics. Throughout his congressional tenure, he has been a member of the Freedom Caucus and has taken conservative stances on issues such as abortion, gun rights, and government spending. In 2025, he announced his candidacy for the 2026 U.S. Senate election in Alabama.
