Bart Claes

Bart Claes is a Belgian politician who has served as a member of the Flemish Parliament for the Antwerp region since 2019. Born in Mechelen and raised in Rumst, he studied law at the University of Antwerp and the University of Ghent. Claes was previously a member of the New Flemish Alliance before joining the Flemish nationalist party Vlaams Belang in 2014. From 2016 to 2020, he served as the chairman of the Vlaams Belang Jongeren, the party's youth wing. Throughout his career, he has been noted for his focus on campaign strategy and his alignment with nationalist political movements.
