Dominiek Lootens-Stael

Dominiek Lootens-Stael is a Belgian politician and lawyer currently serving as a member of the Parliament of the Brussels-Capital Region. Born on May 4, 1965, he is the son of Etienne Lootens, a former politician with the Christian Flemish People's Union. Lootens-Stael previously served as a member of the Flemish Parliament from 1995 to 2004, representing the Vlaams Blok party, which later became Vlaams Belang. Throughout his career, he has been a prominent figure within his party, though his political activities have occasionally drawn controversy, including a 2003 incident involving a planned visit to the Scottish Parliament.
