Barbara Pas

Barbara Pas is a Belgian politician and a prominent member of the Chamber of Representatives for the Vlaams Belang party. Born in Temse in 1981, she studied engineering at the Catholic University of Leuven before entering politics. Pas served as the national chairwoman of the Vlaams Belang Jongeren from 2009 to 2012 and has held the position of national vice-president of her party since 2012. She has served as the party's floor leader in the Chamber of Representatives during multiple parliamentary terms. Known for her nationalist views, she has been a vocal critic of the cordon sanitaire applied to her party and has engaged in public debates regarding historical statues and national identity in Belgium.
