Wouter Vermeersch is a Belgian politician from Flanders who currently serves as a member of the Chamber of Representatives. Born in Courtrai in 1984, he holds a degree in engineering from the University of Antwerp. Before entering politics, he worked as an auditor for Deloitte and as a manager in the green energy sector. Vermeersch began his political career with the LDD party, where he helped establish its youth wing, before joining Vlaams Belang in 2017. He has served as a local councilor in Courtrai since 2019 and was elected to the federal parliament in the same year, where he continues to represent the West Flanders constituency.
